Hello, and welcome to Altenew’s Build-A-Flower Blog Hop. If you came from the Altenew Scrapbook Blog, you are right on track! Today the design team girls and special guests are sharing some fabulous projects to celebrate the beauty of Build-A-Flower Collection.
These are some of the floral cards that I created with beautiful Build-A-Flower sets.

- 2nd column: Build-A-Flower: Aster (blog post HERE) and Build-A-Flower: Rose (blog post HERE)
Inspired by Erum Tasneem’s card heavily, I created a watercolor card using the Build-A-Flower: Anemone set. I started by stamping the images on A2 size Fabriano Cold Press Watercolor Paper with Simon Says Stamp Smoke Ink.
Then I colored my images with Mijello Mission Gold Watercolor Set. It’s hard to see from the photo above, but I also colored my background around the flowers/leaves in light brown.
Once my panel is dried, I added some splatters randomly over my card front using watercolor paints and Ranger Perfect Pearls. I heat embossed the sentiment from Altenew’s Halftone Hearts Stamp Set using Altenew Pure White Embossing Powder on a piece of black cardstock.
I mounted my watercolor panel on an A2 size top folding white card base using double-sided tape. After cutting out my sentiment into a thin banner, I mounted it on the card front using 3M foam tape. I finished off my card by adding some dots/lines in the center of my flowers using a black pen.
