Hello, and welcome to the Altenew February 2018 Release Blog Hop! If you came from the Simon Says Stamp Blog, you are right on track! Today the design team girls and guests are sharing some fabulous projects to celebrate a release of new stamps, dies, and ink.
(Happy Bloom Stamp Set, Crafty Life Stamp Set)
These are the stamp sets I illustrated for Altenew February 2018 release. Yesterday I shared the behind-the-story about my Crafty Life stamp set on my blog. I’m also giving away a $15 Altenew gift certificate. Click HERE to read the story and enter the giveaway.
I was going to create a watercolor card for the blog hop using the Happy Bloom Stamp Set, but I couldn’t do any crafting due to the unexpected neck pain since last Sunday.
I hope you still like my clean and simple cards that I created with the following stamp sets from Altenew: Building Block and Crafty Life.
I started by stamping the solid/outline cross images from the Building Block stamp set with Altenew Aqualicious Ink. I also used my mini MISTI stamping tool to make sure I stamp my images on a perfect placement with a nice, good ink impression.
After my background was done, I stamped 4 words from the Crafty Life Stamp Set with Altenew Jet Black Ink. Then I die cut them using the coordinating die from the Crafty Life Die Set.
I’m so in love with the aqua color on my card! It’s absolutely aqualicious!
I created another card with the same design, but this time I stamped the images from Building Block stamp set with Altenew Coral Bliss Ink.
Don’t you just love the words in a row? EAT – SLEEP – LOVE – REPEAT… I think this card would be perfect for sending to a loved one as a Valentine’s Day card.
By the way, I finished off my two cards by popping up the die cuts on my card front using 3M foam tape to add some dimension. Which card do you like the most? Aqua or coral? Please leave a comment below – I’d love to hear from you.
