I have been a big fan of Yana Smakula‘s work for a long time. Her cards are always well designed while keeping the elements so clean and simple with a fun technique involved.
She showed me and Nina(from Waffle Flower Crafts) one of her favorite techniques while we were at a craft retreat in Ohio last October. We were so excited to watch her creating a galaxy background with watercolors in real life -it was like a magic!
After a few practices, I was finally confident enough to make a card with a galaxy background inspired by Yana’s card. FYI, I heat embossed the lights bold image from Christmas Lights Bold Prints with gold embossing powder.
