Hi, crafty friends! Today I have a fun card to share with you featuring some gorgeous products from Pinkfresh Studio. It’s been a while since I created my own background using small stamps, and I had so much fun making this card.

I made a video tutorial to show you how to create my card from start to finish. You can watch it above or in HD on YouTube. This video includes:
- How to choose stamps from different stamps sets for creating a custom background
- How to stamp your images in balance when you create a stamped background
- How to hide your coloring imperfection
- How to add details on your stamped/colored background
- How to choose a right sentiment that works well for your card design

I started by stamping the small floral images on a piece of A2 size white cardstock with Altenew Permanent Black Ink. FYI, I used the following stamp sets: Sweet Treats and Happy Everything.
Then I colored my images with Copic Sketch Markers. I didn’t add any shading on the images, but simple coloring to enhance the simplicity of my floral images. Next, I colored my background with Copic Marker E70 Ash Rose to create a vintage look of my floral pattern background.
After my background was done, I die cut the floral frame twice using the Floral Frame with a Swan Die Set out of my background panel and white fun form. Then I mounted my panel on the A2 size white top folding card base using Altenew Glue Tape.
After attaching two die cut frame using Tonic Nuvo Crystal Glaze, I inlaid my frame on the opening of my background panel.
I stamped the sentiment from the Word Series: Dream Stamp Set with Altenew Embossing Ink on a piece of Altenew Lagoon Cardstock and heat embossed it using Hero Arts White Detail Embossing Powder. Then I cut out my sentiment into a thin banner and mounted it on the card front using 3M foam tape.
To finish off my card, I added some tiny dots on the center of my flowers using Tonic Nuvo Crystal Drops Black and around them with a black pen.
