Happy Friday! Today I have a fun galaxy themed card to share with you. I started by stamping the background image from Hero Arts Family Tree Grid Bold Prints with Simon Says Stamp Clear Ink on a piece of white cardstock. Then I heat embossed the stamped image with Hero Arts White Detail Embossing Powder.
Then I inked the colors over my white embossed image with mini blending tools. FYI, here is the list of ink colors I used for my ombre background: Neon Yellow to Orange, Ombre Butter to Orange, Ombre Light to Dark Peach, Ombre Pink to Red, Ombre Mint to Green, Ombre Lime to Green, Ombre Tide Pool to Navy, and Ombre Neon Red to Purple.
Next, I cut several circles using Hero Arts Circle Infinity Dies out of my ombre inked panel and mounted them on the card front using 3M foam tape. I overlapped some of the circles to give an extra dimension and interest.
Next, I heat embossed the sentiment from the You Are Loved Messages Stamp Set with White Detail Embossing Powder on a piece of black cardstock and trimmed my sentiment into a thin strip using a craft knife and ruler. Then I mounted my sentiment banner on the card front using foam tape.
I finished off my card by adding some dots on my black panel using Uni-Ball White Gel Pen. That’s all for today. Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a crafty weekend!
