Hello, and welcome to the Altenew March 2018 Release Blog Hop! If you came from the fabulous Paige Evans’s blog, you are right on track!
Today the design team girls and guests are sharing some fabulous projects to celebrate a release of new stencils, ink sprays, and washi tapes.
To create my card, I started by applying some Ranger Texture Paste over the Classy Stripes Stencil on partial areas of A2 size white cardstock. Then I let my panel air dry for about 15-20 minutes.
After mounting my panel on an A2 size top folding white card base, I added some splatters randomly over my card front using some of the new Altenew Ink Sprays: Antique Gold Metallic Ink Spray, Jet Black Ink Spray, and Antique Silver Metallic Ink Spray. I let the ink dry between each application to prevent from mixing the colors.
Then I adhered the sheet of Floral Flurries Washi Tape on a piece of white cardstock and fussy cut the images using my scissors, leaving some white areas around the edge of my images. Next, I mounted my images on the card front using 3M foam tape to build my own floral arrangement.
I die cut love six times out of white cardstock and one time out of gold glitter paper using the Altenew Script Words Die Set and adhered them together using Sakura Quickie Glue Pen to create a chipboard effect.
I heat embossed the sentiment from Altenew’s Halftone Hearts Stamp Set using Altenew Pure White Embossing Powder on a piece of black cardstock. After cutting out my sentiment into a thin banner, I mounted it on the card front using 3M foam tape to finish off my card.
