To celebrate a release of January 2018 My Monthly Hero Kit, I created a fun Valentine’s day card using the Love Bandit stamp set and Window on Love Confetti fancy die.
I started by ink blending around the edge of a piece of A2 paper out of Hero Arts Blush Mix Layering Paper with Hero Arts Inks: Dark Quartz and Orange Soda. Then I die cut a frame using Window on Love Confetti Fancy Die out of white paper, and mounted it on the inked panel using 3M foam tape.
Next, I stamped the raccoon image from the Love Bandit stamp set with Hero Arts Intense Black Ink, colored it with Copic markers and fussy cut the image with scissors.
I heat embossed the sentiment from the Love Bandit stamp set with Hero Arts white embossing powder on a piece of Altenew Lagoon Paper, and cut the sentiment into a thin strip, and mounted it on the card front along with my raccoon image.
I finished off my card by adding black gemstones on the love frame die cut to give some interest. Don’t you just love the shadow under the frame?
