Happy Monday! Today I have a fun Christmas card to share with you that I created using several stamp sets from Pinkfresh Studio.
I combined a couple of my favorite stamping techniques: background stamping and shaped stamping. I also used some non-holiday stamps and non-traditional holiday colors for a unique look.
I started by drawing a triangle shape with a pencil and ruler on an A2 size white panel. Then I stamped the images from the following stamp sets: Playful Animal Friends 2, Festive Llama, and Merry & Bright.
When you create a background by mixing images, it’s important to stamp larger images first and fill in the gaps with smaller images later.
FYI, I used the following Altenew Crisp Dye Inks for stamping: Rouge, Volcano Lake, Honey Drizzle, Olive, and Moon Rock. After stamping is done, I added some dots using Altenew Artist Markers: Y204 Mango Smoothie, R301 Rouge, G715 Forest Glades, and WG05 Moon Rock.
Then I stamped the sentiment from the December Days Stamp Set at the bottom of my Christmas tree with Altenew Moon Rock Ink.
Next, I mounted my stamped panel on an A2 size green top folding card base with 3M foam tape to give dimension. I finished off my card with adding some gemstones in the center of each snowflake image.
