To celebrate a new release from Essentials by Ellen, I created a one layer card focusing on the Thistle stamp set.
I started by stamping the sentiment from the MFT Hand-Lettered stamp set in the middle of my card front with Altenew black ink. FYI, I used Altenew Spicy Yogurt cardstock as my card base to give an earthy feeling to my card.
Then I stamped the flowers and stems from the Thistle stamp set with Hero Arts purple ombre ink and Altenew moss Ink.
Next, I stamped the circles from the Bokeh Dots stamp set in three shades of purple to fill in the gaps between my main images. FYI, I did some stamp surgery by cutting out my stamp with scissors to get a tiny circle stamp.
I also created a matching envelope by heat embossing the sentiment from the Hand-Lettered Stamp Set on a flap of the purple envelope with Altenew gold embossing powder.
