Pinkfresh Studio Stamp & Die Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

by May Park-

Welcome to Pinkfresh Studio’s September Stamp/Die Release Blog Hop. If you came from the amazing Laura Bassen’s blog, you are right on track!

Pinkfresh Studio One Layer Card-May Park-6

For my first card, I started by drawing 4 lines along the edges of my card front using a pencil and ruler. Then I stamped the sentiment from Pinkfresh Studio’s Yes God Stamp Set with Hero Arts Black Ink on the bottom.

Pinkfresh Studio One Layer Card-May Park-2

Next, I stamped the various images from Pinkfresh Studio’s Playful Animal Friends 1 Stamp Set with following Altenew Crisp Dye Inks: Fresh Lemon, Maple Yellow, Bamboo, Parrot, Volcano Lake, Lagoon, Rouge and Moon Rock.

Pinkfresh Studio One Layer Card-May Park-1

FYI, I did some stamp surgery by cutting stamps with scissors to fill in the gaps with small images. I added some dots using Copic Marker W5 Warm Gray. After I erased pencil lines with an eraser, I mounted my stamped panel on the A2 sized top folding card base with Altenew glue tape.

Pinkfresh Studio One Layer Card-May Park-3

I followed the same process for my second card. This time I used the Pinkfresh Studio’s Playful Animal Friends 2 Stamp Set with following Altenew Crisp Dye Inks: Honey Drizzle, Caramel Toffee, Orange Cream, Autumn Blaze, Firebrick, Espresso and Moon Rock.

Pinkfresh Studio One Layer Card-May Park-4

When you create your own stamped background, I recommend stamping the large images first and filling in the gaps with small images later.

One layer + stamped background with small images + small dots = my favorite cardmaking formula at the moment! Which card do you like better? Hope my cards inspired you to create your own background using small stamps.

May these are both adorable. Loving these Playful Animal Friends sets, they really ARE cute! I honestly can’t say I like one card more than the other, they are both great. I LOVE your formula for backgrounds and it is a great tip about stamping the largest images first! Thanks for sharing.
