My favorite weekend activity is spending time with my family. When we have a get together it’s all about food and games. My husband usually does the grilling, but I get up early to make snacks and side dishes. My dad always brings the cornhole boards, but if it’s raining, which it does a lot in Florida in the summer, we play UNO, or monopoly, or crazy trivia games. It’s all about forgetting the prior week, eating good food, and lots and lots of laughing.

My favorite weekend activity is spending time with my grandchildren and creating in my craft oasis! Me 13 year old grandson is a very talented sketcher and he has drawn many wonderful pictures. He has recently started writing a book and I am absolutely amazed at how good it is! He started with a proper introduction to the main characters and easily flowed into setting the scene for the storyline. I can’t wait to read more of it when he is ready to share it with me again. Our 8 year old grandson is undecided if he likes to do anything crafty or not and I keep telling him it is ok if he has other interests because everyone is different. My 5 year old grandson is very much into creating things. She is always bringing stuff for us to use on our creative journey. Dried flowers, pretty rocks, interesting branches and twigs are a few of the things she has brought home with her! I am lucky enough to be able to spend 5-6 days a week with her and she is the last face I see at night and the first one I see in the morning! I can’t think of anything that is better than that!

My favourite weekend activities, aside from crafting, crafting and crafting, include officiating at road bike races in our province. I love standing on the side of the road, clipboard and stopwatch in hand, watching the riders whiz by! The cycling community if marvelous, much like our card-making community!

My favorite weekend activity is actually split into two activities. The first is spending time with my sister,niece, her husband and my mother.We usually get together for Saturday or Sunday morning breakfast. The other activity is relaxing around the house catching up on TV shows and YouTube videos that I missed during the work week. 🙂
