Hello, and welcome to the Altenew April Release 2017 Blog Hop! If you came from the amazing Miriam Prantner’s blog, you are right on track! Today the design team girls and guests are sharing some fabulous projects to celebrate a release of layering dies and New Day card kit.
I started by die cutting the floral frame three times using the Layered Floral Cover Die A out of Canson drawing paper. Then I adhered them together using Ranger Multi Medium Matte. Next, I blended some Distress inks on the die cut frame and add some shading using Prismacolor pencils.
Then I trimmed a 6×6 patterned paper from the New Day card kit to 4.25″x5.5″ and adhered it onto A2 size top folding card. After that, I mounted the colored floral frame on the patterned paper.
I stamped the sentiment from the Smile More stamp set with black ink, die cut with the Smile More die set, and popped it up on the card front using foam tape.
The supporting sentiment from the Adore You stamp set was added after heat embossing on a piece of black cardstock using white embossing powder. I finished off my card by adding a few sparkling clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh to add interest.
