Hello, and welcome to the Hero Arts My Monthly Hero Kit Blog Hop. If you came from the fabulous Clare’s blog, you are right on track! Today the creative team girls are sharing some fabulous projects to celebrate the release of September 2016 My Monthly Hero Kit.

I created a wreath themed card with an earthy watercolor background inspired by my fairyland themed card. I used two fancy dies from the main kit to build my own wreath. Then I mounted them on the watercolor panel using foam tape.

I die cut happy from the Halloween Trimmings Stamp & Cut out of metallic copper paper included in the main kitThen I white embossed my sentiment from the Vintage Christmas Post stamp set on a piece of black cardstock.

I added some ink splatters using Mijello watercolors and Hero Arts unicorn white spray. I finished off my card with several brown gems included in the main kit.

Your card surprised me! Based on the colors, I expected the sentiment to be fall or Thanksgiving related. The sentiment typically used for Christmas was unexpected! This card would definitely stand out in a sea of red and green cards!

I have a question. The card says Season’s Greetings which is for Christmas yet the colors are fall colors and I see my favorite, yellow, in there. So, is it a Christmas card, a fall card or could it be used for both? Either way, I love it! It’s colorful and pretty. Great job!
