Hello, and welcome to the Altenew & Pretty Pink Posh collaboration blog hop! If you came from the amazing Julia Altermann’s blog, you are right on track! Today the design team girls are sharing some fabulous projects using both Altenew and Pretty Pink Posh products, and here is what I came up with:
I created a negative die-cut card with ombre inked background. I went out of my comfort zone by adding layers, ink splatters, and some sequins on my card. To be honest, I struggled with this new-to-me style and spent almost two days for re-dos until I was pleased with the result.
I started by creating a negative die-cut panel using the Stitched Due 2 Die from Pretty Pink Posh. Then I made ombre inked background using five shades of blue using Altenew Crisp Inks(Sea Glass, Ocean Waves, Dusk, Desert Night) and Distress Ink Fade Jeans.
Before I mounted the negative die-cut panel, I added some ink splatters using Ranger Perfect Pearls on the inked piece. Next, I adhered a piece of vellum and white Fenstone Decorative Element on the top of the panel.
I heat embossed the sentiment from the Super Script stamp set with Ranger Embossing Powder(super fine white) on a piece of black cardstock. Then I die cut ‘awesome’ with Super Script die after stamping ‘awesome’ from Super Script.
For the finishing touches, I added some clear sequins from Sparkling Clear Sequins Mix. I’m so in love with the crisp colors/white splatters/clear sequins behind the negative die-cut panel. What do you think? Hope you love my card as much as I do. 🙂
I made a processing video on how I created my card. You can watch the video tutorial here or in HD on YouTube. If you like this video, please give it a thumbs up. Don’t forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel, too. 🙂
