Hello, and welcome to the Altenew July 2015 Blog Hop! If you came from the amazing Laura Bassen’s blog, you are right on track! Today the design team girls are sharing some fabulous projects to celebrate the release of nine new stamp sets, and here is what I came up with:
I created a garden themed thank you card using the images from Garden Grow and the sentiment from Layered Lily. To color the images, I used the Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens for the first time. It’s not perfect, but I love how my coloring turned out.

Yesterday I posted a sneak peek of this card on my Instagram with this caption “This is the reason why I don’t like adding ink splatters on my card. I already ruined my two finished cards.” Then I got a lot of encouraging comments from my IG friends, and their sweet words gave me some comfort and confidence. Seriously crafty friends are the best! 🙂

Hello. This stamp set is perfect for creating different scenes on cards.I also love splatters of ink on my cards … I think you should have used small brush. It will give you tiny dots of ink which are more suitable for your delicate designs 🙂
