CASology #135: Mini Thank You Card using Pencil Eraser

by May Park-

Hello, crafty friends! Hope you had a great start to your new week. As some of you may know, last week I went on a craft retreat for 4 days and had a blast crafting with my sweet friends. If you’d like to see the photos that I took on the retreat, please check out my Instagram.

Week 135 - Mini

Okay, it’s Tuesday and that means time for a brand new challenge over at CASology. We have a new cue card, MINI, and I’d love for you to play along with us. As always, you can interpret the word literally or think outside the box. Here is my take on MINI:

DSC_9005-3

I created a very simple mini card using a pencil eraser. But I’m afraid that my card design is too general, and someone might already made a very similar card like mine.

By the way, do you know what does my sentiment mean? It’s thank you in Korean. The Hangul for the phrase is 고맙습니다(gomapseumnida) which is a formal thanks used mostly for familiar people who have a higher rank or status than you have.

After I made 5 thank you cards in different colors, I wrapped them with tracing paper and tied it with natural twine. It would be a perfect gift for anyone who loves handmade greeting cards.

Guest Designer: Ksenija
Now it’s your turn to play along. There is a wonderful prize up for grabs from Uniko Studio and the winner will have a chance to guest design on the next challenge – more details are on the CASology blog. Thanks so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!

Wonderful blog! Do you have any tips and hints for aspiring writers?
I’m hoping to start my own site soon but I’m a little lost on everything.
Would you recommend starting with a free
platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m completely confused
    .. Any ideas? Many thanks!

What a wonderful set, May. Your colors are so modern. I recently used a pencil eraser to make some dots with paint! I received a lovely package in the mail today – thank you for the precious stamp set (and other goodies). You did a wonderful job designing it. And your card is just gorgeous. I’m thrilled to have a May Park original!

Wonderful mini card. And, how could anyone have done something like this? In Korean? Stamping with a pencil eraser? Really, May, you are one in a million.

I think your card is lovely May! And I wouldn’t worry about others having made something similar before. The cards you make are so beautiful and unique, with your own personal spin to it, making yours different from someone else’s who may have a similar design. I think you did an AMAZING job with the card. And I loved learning the definition of the Korean Hangul sentiment! Thanks so much for always sharing your creativity with all of us!
