Hi, crafty friends! Today I’m sharing my quickfire card I created for the Catered Crop: Sentiment-al challenge. This time we want to see you use a quote or sentiment as the focal element of your creation.
Here is my quick and easy card, inspired by the sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch #44. I kept the orientation of the sketch but swapped the sentiment and the image. The sentiment from Stylish Sentiments: Birthday was stamped in the middle of the card front. Then I stamped a balloon image twice after covering the sentiment with a post-it note. After that, I made all the balloons different colors using Copic Markers. FYI, I cut a strip off the bottom of my card base to make it 1/4″ shorter than a regular A2 card.
These are the supplies that I used for my card: Copics and Post-it note are not pictured. The Stamp-a-ma-jig, a stamp positioner, helped me to get the perfect placement of my balloons both time. By the way, I’m linking this into Color Media Challenge in the Moxie Fab World.
