Welcome to the Hero Arts October 2017 My Monthly Hero Kit Blog Hop. If you came from the amazing Lydia Fiedler’s blog, you are right on track! To celebrate a release of October 2017 My Monthly Hero Kit, I created an elegant holiday wreath card.
I started by stamping the wreath and poinsettia images from Hero Arts Santas Door Accessories stamp set with Versamark Watermark ink on an A2 sized Neenah Desert Storm cardstock. Then I heat embossed them with Hero Arts gold embossing powder.
Then I colored the images with Prismacolor colored pencils. FYI, I used the following colors for my coloring: PC939 Peach, PC929 Rose, PC920 Light Green, PC992 Light Auqa, and PC1006 Parrot Green.
I filled in the gaps between wreaths by gold heat embossing the dots and snowflakes from Hero Arts Nice Elves stamps set. For an extra interest, I added dots on berries using Signo white gel pen.
I gold heat embossed the sentiment from Hero Arts Fluffy Stockings stamp set on a piece of black cardstock. To finish off my card by popping up the sentiment banner on the card front using 3M foam tape.
