Hello, crafty friends! Today I’m up on the Right at Home blog with one layer thank you card as a guest designer. For my card, I used two fabulous stamp sets from Right at Home: Sunflower and Script Greetings.
I started by stamping the sentiment from the Script Greetings stamp set with Hero Arts black ink on A2 sized white cardstock. Next, I created my own background by stamping the sunflower images from the Sunflower stamp set with Altenew inks: Warm Sunshine, Sunkissed, Espresso, and Olive.
FYI, I used the original MISTI stamping tool to stamp the layered images in a perfect placement and get a nice impression.
Then I filled in the gaps between the sunflowers with some tiny dots using the Copic Marker: E31 Brick Beige to give my card more unique finished look.
Depending on your projects, you can add a different size of the dot by choosing a different tip from your marker – brush tip, fine tip, or chisel tip. FYI, I used a brush tip so I can adjust the size of each dot.
I also created a matching envelope. After I stamped the sentiment from the Script Greetings stamp set with watermark ink on the flap of my envelope, I heat embossed it with Hero Arts Platinum Embossing Powder.
