Welcome to the Hero Arts September 2017 My Monthly Hero Kit Blog Hop. If you came from the amazing llina’s blog, you are right on track! To celebrate a release of September 2017 My Monthly Hero Kit, I created two cards with a stamped background.
For my first card, I created my own stamped background using the sunflower images from the main kit. I only used the bottom layer with non-traditional sunflower color to create my own unique look of the floral background.
FYI, I used the following ink colors: Raspberry Jam, Soft Pink, and Limestone. To add some details, I added some white dots on the center of each flower using a white gel pen. Then I filled in the gaps with some tiny dots using the Grapevine marker from Altenew Artist Markers Set A.
I stamped the sentiment from Hero Arts Thanksgiving Table Stamp Set on a piece of white cardstock with black ink then I drew some square frame around the sentiment with a black pen. I finished off my card by cutting out my sentiment and popped it up on the card front using foam tape.
For the second card, I stamped the vine image from Hero Arts Vine Pattern Bold Prints Stamp with Soft Brown ink on an A2 sized Earth Layering Paper.
Then I stamped the leaves from Hero Arts Color Layering Squirrel Stamp Set in soft brown. After adding some dots between the images, I added the sentiment to finish off my card.

May, I was wondering how you were going to use pink in this blog hop. Great card – who said that the stamp had to be sun flowers? Your pink flowers are adorable and so happy! I also love how you used the background stamp on the second card. It is beautiful.
