A couple of days ago, I created two cards for upcoming Holiday Class at Online Card Classes as a guest artist. Since I was in a holiday mood, I decided to use the traditional Christmas colors for today’s projects – something you can send to your beloved family or friends during winter holidays! ๐
I started by stamping one geometric image from the Geometric Flowers stamp set repeatedly with Forest Glades Ink on A2 sized green cardstock to create my own pattern.
I colored my images partially with the Forest Glades marker from the Artist Markers Set A. Then I added some dots between the images with a white gel pen and adhered some gemstones to the center of each image.
I die cut the letters, X and O, out of Gold Foil cardstock using the Bold Alphabet die set and attached die-cut letters on the card front using foam tape.
Next, I heat embossed the sentiment from the Halftone Hearts stamp set with Pure White embossing powder on a piece of Dark Gray cardstock.
After cutting my sentiment in a thin banner, I foam mounted it over my die-cut letters.
This card features many different techniques: stamped background, tone-on-tone stamping, partial coloring, die cutting, dotting, and heat embossing. However, itโs super easy to make. ๐
Giveaway
Iโm giving away one $15 gift certificate to the Altenew online store. Leave a comment below telling me what’s your favorite color combo at the moment. I will announce one lucky winner on Friday, September 8th. Good luck!
Thatโs all for today. Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a fabulous day!
