Hello, and welcome to the Simon Says Stamp One Of A Kind Blog Hop! If you came from the amazing Nina-Marie Trapani’s blog, you are right on track!
For my first card, I started by stamping the images from the Encouraging Animals Stamp Set with Hero Arts Intense Black Ink on an A2 white card base. Then I colored the partial images with a black marker from Altenew Artist Markers Set A.
I added little dots between the images using a bullet tip of the Altenew black marker to fill in the gaps. After that, I heat embossed the sentiment three times from the Encouraging Animals Stamp Set with Hero Arts white embossing powder on three colors of some My Favorite Things colored cardstock.
I finished off the card by mounting my sentiment strips with 3M foam tape to the card front. If you are not good at coloring animal images like me, this is a great alternative way to create a card without much coloring skills needed.
For my second card, I stamped my images with Altenw Rouge Ink ink onto an A2 sized piece of card stock from Hero Arts Blush Mix Layering Papers. Then I partially colored them with Copic markers.
Then I white heat-embossed the sentiments from the Hello You Stamp Set on a piece of Altenew Jet Black Cardstock and mounted mounting my sentiment strips with 3M foam tape to the card front to add some dimension.
To finish off my card, I added a black enamel dot so I can balance my sentiment banners. Hope you enjoyed seeing my cards and got some inspiration to create your own card using simple/partial coloring.
These are my favorite products from the Encouraging Words Collection. Make sure to visit the Simon Says Stamp store HERE to check out the rest of awesome new products.
