My Favorite Things: Happy Jungle Gym Card + 50% OFF Sale

by May Park-

Hello, crafty friends! Today I’m up on the MFT blog with my second guest design card for this month. If you haven’t checked my first card, you can read my post HERE.

For today’s project, I created another fun card featuring some of the new products from the from July 2017 Release.

To create my own patterned background, I stamped a script sentiment from Handwritten Happiness stamp set repeatedly with Altenw Rouge Ink ink onto an A2 sized piece of card stock from Hero Arts Blush Mix Layering Papers.

I stamped my image from the Jungle Gym stamp set on a piece of white card stock, colored it with Copic markers, and die cut the images using the Jungle Gym Die-namics and my Spellbinders Platinum Diecut Machine.

Next, I stamped a sentiment from the Uncorked stamp set using Versamakr watermark ink onto a piece of Altenew Lagoon card stock, heat embossed it with Ranger white embossing powder, and die cut it with Fishtail Sentiment Strips.

I mounted the die-cut image and sentiment banner on the card front using 3M foam tape to add some dimension. I finished my card by adding white dash lines using a white gel pen to add some detail to my images.

That’s all for today. I hope my inspired you to create something fun today. Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!

    Hi May!
What a sweet, happy card! I love everything about it. The images are adorable and the Altenew paper and ink colors are delicious! Thanks for going into detail about your process. I learn a lot from you always! Even little things like pointing out that you used white gel pen…makes me go back for another look and realize those little touches really make your card pop!
