Hi, crafty friends! Today I’m up on the My Favorite Things blog with this fun card as a guest designer. I combined some of their new products from July 2017 Release to build my own scene.
I started by stamping the images from the MFT Smitten Kitten Stamp Set with Volcano Lake Ink on A2 size Lagoon Cardstock. Then I stamped my cat and bow images on a piece of white cardstock with Intense Black Ink, colored them with Copic markers, cut out the images with MFT Die-namics Smitten Kitten.
For my sentiment, I cut out the letters using MFT Die-namics You Trio out of Rouge cardstock. Then I stamped the sentiment from the MFT All About You Stamp Set using Watermark Ink on a piece of black cardstock, heat embossed with white embossing powder, and die cut with MFT Die-namics Fishtail Sentiment Strips.
I mounted die cut images, letters, and sentiment banner on the card front using 3M foam tape to add some dimension. I finished off my card by adding white dots using Uni-Ball White Gel Pen to add some details to my kitty.
