Hi, crafty friends! I was up on the Hero Arts blog with a cheerful watercolor card last Saturday. To create my card, I used the floral stamp set from Hero Arts July My Monthly Hero Kit.

My favourite flowers are hydrangeas, just takes me back to my childhood, my grandma only had a small yard but had a massive wooden tub with a blue hydrangea in it.

Pretty card! I can’t choose just one flower: I love the look and feel of Peonies – couldn’t grow them for the life of me when I had a yard, and I love the look and scent of Plumeria and Sweet Peas.

My all time favorite flower is the Sweet Pea. It is just a simple little flower,not over the top, not showey, but does its job. It is also my birth flower(April). And on my Christening, my mom made a crown of sweet peas, which I still have. So, that is why I love Sweet Peas….my signature flower.

My all time favourite flower would have to be the Falstaff by Graham Thomas. Its a deep, rich red/mauve and the smell is just heavenly. A close second would be peonies, love any of them, any colour!!

As a gardening/flower addict it keeps changing. Daisies, Peruvian Lilly, lotus blossoms, micro roses and yarrow are my current favorites for growing in the garden or stamping on cards.
