Summer Themed Clean and Simple Cards

by May Park-

Bloghop_800

Hello, and welcome to the Hero Arts 2017 Summer Catalog Blog Hop. If you came from the amazing Wanda’s blog, you are right on track! To celebrate a release of 2017 Summer Catalog Collection, I created FOUR clean and simple one layer cards. Here are what I came up with:

Hero Arts-Summer Catalog-May Park-4

For my first card, I started by creating a sea themed background using ombre inks: Mermaid and Tide Pool to Navy. After stamping the shark head image from the Narwhal stamp set, I stamped a variety of sentiments from the Narwhal stamp set to form a shape of shark body.

Hero Arts-Summer Catalog-May Park-3

I created a tropical scene using the Color Layering Parrot stamp set which offers layers of parrot goodness to stamp in just about any array of bright colors. I used various Hero Arts Shadow Inks for a fun, colorful look.

Hero Arts-Summer Catalog-May Park-1

For the next card, I stamped the unicorn image from the Unicorn Stamp & Cut. Then I created a hill image by stamping a heart image multiple times. After coloring my images with Copic markers, I stamped the sentiment from the same set to finish off the card.

Hero Arts-Summer Catalog-May Park-2

For my last card, I stamped the rainbow image from Unicorn Stamp & Cut repeatedly to create a sea with waves. After masking off the waves, I stamped whale mages from the Narwhal Stamp Set and colored them with Copic markers. I finished off my card with the sentiment from the Manatee Stamp & Cut.
