Happy Monday! Welcome to the Hero Arts April 2017 My Monthly Hero Kit Blog Hop. If you came from the amazing Wanda Guess’s blog, you are right on track! Today the creative team girls and guests are sharing some fabulous projects to celebrate the release of April 2017 My Monthly Hero Kit.
I created a one layer card using the You Are Fabulous stamp set, inspired by my Pop Art Rose Card that I created in 2015. I started by drawing 4 rectangle sections using a ruler and a pencil on an A2 size white top folding card. Then I inked each section using blending tools and Hero Arts Shadow Ink: Cotton Candy, Soft Brown, and Mint Julep.
I stamped the princess image from the You Are Fabulous stamp set with Versafine Onyx Black Ink inside the each inked area. FYI, I used the mini MISTI stamping tool to align her hairdo, eyes, lip, and hands. I stamped two sentiments from the Dare to Dream stamp set inside the white rectangle area. I finished off my card by adding clear gemstones on her tiaras.
The April 2017 My Monthly Hero Kit is available in limited quantities for a limited time – once it’s gone, it’s gone. So grab yours right HERE, before they are gone! The kit value is $70, and Hero Arts has an amazing deal at $34.99.

Very nice! The You are Fabulous set reminds me of Audrey Hepburn ala Breakfast at Tiffanys; very classy. Your card kind of combines that with retro – looks good!

Love Love Love!!! So different. I like the different colours behind the black images. Don’t think it would have the same effect if it was all one colour.
