Happy weekend! Have you enjoyed the Altenew January release blog hop? It was full of amazing inspiration from talented designers. Thank you so much for those who took the time to leave some love on my cards. I really appreciate your support.
Without further ado, here is the lucky winner of a $30 gift certificate to the Altenew online store:
Congratulations, Kitty! Please email Altenew at winner@altenew.com with the subject line January 2017 Release Blog Hop Winner from May’s Blog.
I’m giving away your choice of ONE Altenew Stamp Set from above. Since I’m working on designing new stamp sets, it would be helpful if you could leave a comment telling me which sentiments you would like to see in my stamp designs.
ONE Lucky Winner will be announced on Thursday, February 9th. I’ll plan to include extra crafty goodies for the winner! Good luck!
In the meantime, please check out the newest products from Altenew including 18 new stamp sets!
Thank you so much for stopping by! Happy crafting!

I love the stamps you design, May, they are so cute and fun! I personally would like to see more “proud of you” or “you can make it” type of sentiments.

I love your design style! For sentiments, I always like a mix of unique sentiments, with a few generic ones thrown in- happy birthday, best wishes, that sort of thing.

May – Love your cards and Stamps! Would love to see Inspirational Sentiments – something that would make a difference/impact when one reads them. This may include sentiments that inspire when one feels low, or express heartfelt gratitude or brighten someone’s day 🙂

Wine or bottle tags/dies with fun stamp sentiments for birthdays and friendships, and sophisticated ones for weddings and celebrations! Thank you for asking!

I think sentiments for loss and sympathy are sorely lacking.

Thank you for the chance to win, and for letting us into your creative process! I always look for unique ‘thank you’ sentiments, in design or in content, things like ‘grateful’ and ‘with thanks’ are always useful, but some thank you quotes would be great too.
Feb . 05 . 2017Can’t wait to see what kind of sentiments you’ll choose and create! xx

Thank you for the giveaway. I’d like some HUGS sentiments that would be good for cards for kids.

Congrats to the winner! I’d like to see more young boy related sentiments like You Rock!, You’re awesome, You’re a Star!, things like that that can be used for birthday as well as encouragement to them!

I think I’d like sentiments for saying congratulations or ones to encourage someone.

“Amazing You” is my favorite stamp set from this release. It is beautiful! “Smile More” is my very close second favorite stamp set from this release. As far as designing floral stamps go, I say, “Keep up the good work!!” As far as sentiments go, I prefer ones that I don’t already have on 5 other sets. These days, I like longer sentiments, instead of just one line that are encouraging and uplifting. I also like unique fonts. I also like it when I have scripture stamps. I love the stamp set “Bamboo Roses” because the sentiments are different from the typical “get well soon” or “feel better” and because the font is so different.

A great sentiment would be “you’re always on my mind” or “remember when…….?”

Since the inside of a card is often not stamped, I would love to see sentiments for the inside. More then one line. Maybe something generic which could have an extra line added to fit Mom, Dad, Friend etc. With your your talent I’m sure you would design a terrific set. Thank you for caring about what we (the customer) would like.

Amazing collection – and so are your designs!!! Guy card designs are always needed….
Feb . 04 . 2017Katy
You are so gifted! I would love a “Hooray” stamp and matching die. Other sentiments along this line could be…you made it, we’re rooting for you, for you, you did it, for the good news. I hope you like these!😄

You design such beautiful cards and I can’t wait to see what you’ll be creating next! As Altenew do lots of beautiful flower and nature themes, what about something about protecting nature or the beauty of nature? Another theme missing are nice quotes for graduation cards. Thanks for asking!

Altenew stamp sets are always inspiring but we need more “mum” spelt sentiments for those not in the USA. It’d be even better if they came with matching “dad”, “daughter” and “son” stamps too.
Feb . 04 . 2017rhowell2
Loved the cards and the new release. Congrat’s to the winner! The sentiments I would love to see would be for friendship, masculine, would love stamps for the men as well.
Feb . 04 . 2017FeM
I love your cards and designs. I would like sentiment to go inside the card. Possibly sympathy and more masculine types.
