Hi, crafty friends! Today I’m up on the Altenew blog with this Happy New Year card. I was planning to create a colorful watercolor card using outline images from Adore You stamp set.
Then I realized that my coloring skills got rusty since I haven’t played with watercolors for the past few months. After several attempts at watercoloring, I decided not to color them but leave as is.
Instead, I added a touch of gold to my card with gold sequins, threads, and heat embossed word after stamping my florals/leaves in black. What do you think? Please tell me I did well! 😉
By the way, I white embossed the sentiment HAPPY NEW YEAR from the Happy Dreams stamp set and gold embossed the word celebrate from the Super Script stamp set.
