Hello, crafty friends! It’s time for a new challenge over at CASology. Here is this week’s cue card:
As always, you can interpret the word literally or think outside the box. Here is my take on GRADUATION:
I started by stamping a girl image on a sticky note using Bonjour from Penny Black. Then I drew my own graduation cap on her head. Next, I cut out the girl’s silhouette with scissors to create a mask.
After adhering the mask on the card front, I sponged the colors using masking technique. I finished my card off with the sentiment by gold embossing the sentiment from Super Script by Altenew.
Now it’s your turn to play along. There is a wonderful prize up for grabs from STAMPlorations and the winner will have a chance to guest design on the next challenge. Make sure to check out the CASology challenge blog to see how the rest of the designers interpreted the cue word. Thanks so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!
