Hi, crafty friends! Today I’m sharing a clean and simple card that I made using the Vintage Roses set along with Many Thanks set from Altenew. Here is what I came up with:
My inspiration for today’s card came from Andy Warhol‘s pop art: Marilyn Monroe. I used a lot of masking to create a one-layer printed look. To make the images pop, I also used contrasting colors for each grid. Here is how I put together my card:
①Draw some grid lines on the card front using a pencil and ruler. ②Stamp the base layer of flower on the each grid with four different inks. ③Mask off the flower with a sticky note and washi tape. Then ink all over the open area using pigment ink and sponge dauber. Repeat the process until the rest of grids were inked. ④Remove all the masks and stamp the another layers of each flower. Finish off the card with a sentiment in black.
This is a close-up of my pop art rose card. Hope you loved the card and got some inspiration. Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy crafting!
Mike
