Yay! I finally handed in my last manuscript to my publishing company. It took me 9 months to write entire drafts since the publisher contacted me this January. Hope I won’t have too many rewrites before the cardmaking book is published in December, 2014. Since I was so excited about finishing my drafts, I couldn’t resist making cards all day long. Then I ended up with 6 cards. The important thing is that I’m still making more to send them to my blog friends. I just love making cards! *wink* I created clean and simple mini cards using awesome products from Waffle Flower Crafts: Feather More Stamp Set, Flower Circles Die Set, and Holiday Label 1 Die. For today’s post, I decided to talk less and share many photos instead. Hope you’ll enjoy viewing my creations. Let’s get started! I really love how my cards turned out. Super easy yet so lovely! They would be also great as a gift by wrapping all the cards together. What do you think? Hope you like my cards and get some inspiration. For those of you who what to see how I made my cards, this is a quick step-by-step photo tutorial. 1)Emboss some Naturals White cardstock using chain embossing folder. 2)Die cut the label using Holiday Label 1 Die. 3)Stamp the sentiment from Feather More Stamp Set with black ink. 4)Adhere the embossed panel over the card base using dimensional adhesive. 5)Die cut some scalloped circle out of a sheet of felt from Benzie Design using Flower Circles Die Set. 6)Cut the circle with scissors and make a felt flower by rolling the scalloped strip, securing the flower with glue gun. Then add some pearl on the flower, adhere the flower on the card front. By the way, the finished size of my card is 4.25″x4.25″. Well, that’s all I have today. Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy crafting!

Its like you read my mind! You seem to know a lot about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you can do with some pics to drive the message home a bit, but other than that, this is fantastic blog. A fantastic read. I’ll definitely be back.|

Your card caught my eye in the collage on Virginia’s challenge site today. Love the simple yet effective design and am thinking of CASEing it to whip up some quick Christmas cards. Thanks for the inspiration. I will let you know if and when I manage to create these cards.
