CASology #110: Hello Cards using Heat Embossing

by May Park-

Hello crafty friends! (If you stop by for my giveaway post, please click HERE.) It’s Tuesday and that means time for a brand new challenge over at CASology. Without further ado, here is this week’s cue card:

I spent a few days to come up the ideas, and inspiration finally came yesterday. Believe it or not, I had an amazing idea of making a fun card with four letters: L, I, F, E. I made up my own acronym with the word LIFE for my card – Love yourself, Inspire yourself, Follow yourself, Enjoy yourself. Unfortunately, I failed to finalize it in time. I feel so terrible at the moment that I couldn’t finish my assignment for CASology as planned. It never happend to me before. I want to apologize to you all for my irresponsibility. But I still want to share a couple of cards that I made a few months ago. To be honest, I didn’t share them earlier because I didn’t like how they turned out. Hope you don’t mind me sharing my not-good-enought cards today. I’ll do better than this next time. I promise!

DSC_7899I started by making card using Smokey Shadow cardstock by Papertery Ink. Then I gold embossed part of the label image from Bowtiful Additions stamp set by Waffle Flower Crafts using Ranger embossing powder. After that, I added the sentiment from Flower Circles stamp set by Waffle Flower Crafts in the same way that I did for my frame.

DSC_7886That’s it for me today. There is a wonderful prize up for grabs from Add a Little Dazzle and the winner will have a chance to guest design on the next challenge– more details are on the CASology blog. Be sure to check out what the rest of the talented design team has for you. Thanks so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!
