Hello, crafty friends! Today I’m sharing a clean and simple one layer card that I put together using Waffle Flower’s new release! Without further ado, here is what I came up with:
I created a little scene in the circle using three different stamp sets: Starry Night Stamp Set, Riverside Stamp Set, and A Homemade Christmas Stamp Set. All the stamp sets are filled with great images, so I couldn’t resist using each of them.
This is a close-up. I know the night sky isn’t suppose to be blue but black. But I want my sky to look bright enough so that I feel comfy and hearty from the scene. What do you think? Hope you like my card and get some inspiration.
This is how I created my card. 1)Make card from Neenah Solar White cardstock. Stamp circle from Starry Night Stamp Set. 2)Stamp circle again on sticky note and cut out the circle to create a mask. Cover the mask over the stamped circle and place another sticky note to mask the top of the open area. Then apply color using a blending tool and Distress Ink Mowed Lawn. Next, mask the bottom of the open area. Then apply color through the opening in the mask using Hero Arts Soft Pool. 3)Stamp tree and firefly images from Riverside Stamp Set. 4)Remove the mask and stamp house from A Homemade Christmas Stamp Set. 5)Heat emboss stars from A Homemade Christmas Stamp Set with Ranger Gold embossing powder. 6)Stamp sentiment from Riverside Stamp Set.
