Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing a card that I put together using the Hey Mr Stamp Set and Notions Stamp Set from Waffle Flower Crafts. Here is what I made:
It doesn’t happen often for me to make a masculine card. So when I saw Hey Mr Stamp Set, I was so excited to find out lots of interesting images for guy in the set. But it wasn’t easy to come up the ideas, though. Then my inspiration came when I saw my husband wearing pajamas which were a little torn on bottom pants. He definitely needed to fix it!
This is a close up of my card. I just love the tiny hearts peeking through the slit. By the way, do you know where the color combo came from? My husband’s pajamas had little red hearts on the light blue background on them. Yes, he had the cutest sleepwear ever! He didn’t want me to mention this, but it also had lots of pink pigs on them as well. LOL! Does your husband wear this kinds of cutesy pajamas, too? 🙂
This is how I created my card. 1)Draw some faux stitching lines using black marker and ruler on a piece of white card stock. 2)Cut some slit after the lines. 3)Stamp the sentiment from Hey Mr Stamp Set and scissors from Notions Stamp Set. 4)Roll up the slit using pencil. 5)Stamp the hearts from Notions Stamp Set onto the Spring Rain cardstock from Papertrey Ink. 6)Adhere the white panel onto the card base.
FYI, these are the images of the stamp sets that I used to create my card. Don’t you just love them? There are so many possibilities to work with.
