Waffle Flower Design Team + Bowtiful Card

Happy Friday! I’ve been sitting on some truly scrumptious news for a while. Today is the day I finally get to share with you all, that I’ve been impatiently waiting to reveal. Can someone pinch me please?

I’m pleased as punch to officially announce that I’ve joined the Waffle Flower Crafts Design Team. Whoop whoop! I can’t even begin to describe how honored I am to be working with such an amazingly talented group! To share the excitement with you all, I made this card using new Bowtiful Stamp Set, inspired by a bow skirt. I created my own pattern using tiny heart stamp from the set. Then I used my all time favorite technique, heat embossing, to add a slightly dimensional, raised effect to the pattern. It looks really cool and elegant in real life.

“YOU’RE SO BOWTIFUL!” Oh my, that sentiment is truly sweet and clever! It could be used on every card for any occasion, except sympathy card. By the way, I almost put some gemstone or glitter onto the bow, but I’m glad I didn’t. What do you think? Hope you love my card! 🙂

Here is how I created my card. 1)Draw some guidelines using pencil and ruler. 2)Stamp the heart images in grey on the card front. 3)Stamp the hearts again using versamark ink. 4)Pour clear embossing powder on the stamped images and heat set it. 4)Adhere some pattern paper and yellow cardstock, then add the sentiment in gray. 6)Die cut the bow and place it onto the card using dimensional adhesive.

These are the supplies I used to create my card: Cuttlebug die-cut machine was not pictured. All the cardsock I used for my card is from Papertrey Ink, except patterned paper from My Mind’s Eye.
