Catered Crop: Sleep Mask Card

by May Park-

Hi, crafty friends! Today I’m sharing my quickfire card for the Catered Crop: Safe Travels challenge. When I saw this week’s theme, it reminded me of a long boring flight to my home country. Do you know how long does it take to fly to Seoul from Los Angeles? It almost takes 13 hours from Los Angeles, California to Seoul, South Korea. That’s why getting a good sleep during the flight is essential for me to have good and safe travels. Then I came up with a sleep mask card.

Since I have a yellow face, I deliberately chose a vintage cream cardstock from Paptertrey Ink for my card base. Then I added the computer generated greeting and hand drawn nose with black marker. Then I designed my own mask using Silhouette design studio and cut it out of patterned paper, and I adhered it using dimensional adhesive. Hope you see a person wearing a sleep mask in my card. 🙂

There is a fabulous Pinterest board that Linda has curated. You can head over to her board, Safe Travels, to find links to all the inspiring projects. Make sure to stop by the Catered Crop blog to see the rest of the DT creations on Sunday, March 9. I hope you play along with us as the winners will have a chance to guest design on the next challenge.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Hope you have a great weekend! Happy crafting!

Hello just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The text in your
post seem to be running off the screen in Safari. I’m not sure if this is a
formatting issue or something to do with internet browser compatibility but I thought I’d post to let you know.
The style and design look great though! Hope you get the issue fixed soon. Cheers
