Runway Inspired #52: Spring Themed Card

by May Park-

Happy Friday! I decided to participate in the Runway Inspired challenge at the last minute, because I couldn’t resist creating a card based on this week’s inspiration photo:

Such a perfect spring dress! It’s soft, light, airy, delicate, I could go on and on about this floaty chiffon dress. I feel like I could smell of fresh flowers from the dress. I wanted the use some vellum and floral paper for my creation to replicate the soft and floral design of her dress. Here is my take:

I started by gold embossing the sentiment from Avery Elle onto the vellum. Then I placed the embossed panel over the lovely paper from My Mind’s Eye and sew them together using my sewing machine. After that, I laid down strips of washi leaving a little gap in between for my panel. I finished off the card with some snow white sequins to balance out the design.

Here is a closer look at my card. I love the floral paper peeking through the vellum. What do you think? Hope you like it and get some inspiration.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great weekend!

With havin so much content and articles do you ever run into any issues of plagorism or
copyright violation? My blog has a lot of completely unique content
I’ve either created myself or outsourced but it looks like a lot of it is popping it up all
over the web without my authorization. Do you know any solutions to help prevent content from being stolen? I’d really appreciate it.

Hello! I know this is kinda off topic but
I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this site?
I’m getting tired of WordPress because I’ve had problems with hackers and I’m looking at alternatives for another platform.

I would be great if you could point me in the direction of
    a good platform.
