CASology #80 : Purple Love

Good morning crafty friends! It’s Tuesday and that means it’s time for a new challenge over at CASology! Here is this week’s cue card:

The idea is that you use color PURPLE on your clean and simple creation. Honestly, purple is not my favorite, and I rarely use it on my project. But I’ve wanted to give it a try, since Pantone picked the Radiant Orchid for the color of the year 2014. Here is what I came up with:

I showcased a bunch of lavender hanging on the white wooden wall. I have to admit, though, it doesn’t look like lavender. But if you see my card with half-closed eyes, it would look like lavender! Use your imagination, then the magic will happen! Does it happen to you? Ha-ha!

DSC_7691-2 I created several scored lines on my card base using a Martha Stewart scoring board. Then I die cut the letters from Avery Elle in different colors and inlaid them into the card front. To make some purple vines, I used Rustic Wreath die from Papertrey Ink and diecut it three times in different colors. I finished off my card with some enamel dot to hold the vines in place.
