Good morning friends! Yesterday I chose my first honorable mention for the weekly winners as a part of the design team at CASology. I enjoyed checking out all the entries, and they were all fabulous with bubbly theme. We have a new challenge for you up on the CASology blog today. Here is this week’s cue card:
For my card I decided to pull out Good Times stamp set by Mama Elephant which includes some polka dot balloon. I began by stamping the balloons in various colors of Hero Arts Shadow inks. (Kind of obsessed with these shadow inks, as you saw from the past three cards!) Then I stamped the envelope image onto some dotty patterned paper, cut it out, and adhered it onto the card front. Next, I drew seven pencil lines to be look like strings which all goes to the envelope from each balloon.
After that, I stamped the sentiment from Just Hello stamp set by Neat&Tangled at the bottom of my card using Memento Tuxedo Black. I finished off the card with a small heart die-cut from the Simons Says Mini Heart die. This card was so fun to create! But I won’t deny that I had a hard time achieving a desired placement of balloons.
FYI, these are the supplies I used to create my card. Neat and Tangled let the Design Team play with a stamp set of our choices, and I chose the Just Hello stamp set.
