Homemade Coasters

by May Park-

Hello friends! Hope you are having a great week so far. It’s been a month since I uploaded my last post. I miss you and my humble blog so much! Here are my excuses, if you want to know why you didn’t hear any news from my blog. I visited South Korea for three weeks in January/February. Then I went on a snowboarding trip to Mammoth Mountain last weekend. Packing, unpacking and packing again… I also needed to take a good rest from the fatigue of my two trips. Anyway, so sorry for the lack of posts.

Today I’d like to share homemade coasters with you all. A couple of months ago, one of my Korean friends sent me some beautiful linen fabrics. I simply couldn’t think of anything to make with them except tea coasters.

To make simple coaster, I machine stitched all around the square, and then I embellished one of the corners with a ribbon. Then I stamped a sentiment onto the back of the coaster. FYI, I used Stazon black ink to prevent the color from coming out when washing the coaster.

I love their natural texture and beautiful pattern. What do you think? BTW, I already gave them to my friends. That means there were none left for me. I couldn’t resist making another set of coasters for myself.

That’s all I have for today. Thanks for visiting my blog. Happy crafting!
