Happy Birthday – Clean and Simple Card

by May Park-

Short and sweet! Here is my second entry into the CAS-ual Fridays challenge. Tonight, I created a clean and simple card using a combination of heat and dry embossing. The white background was dry embossed with a swiss dot embossing folder and my Cuttlebug machine.

To make a focal point, I started out stamping the birthday gifts from Hero Arts with a Versamark pad onto the white card stock. Then I heat-embossed the image with white embossing powder. Next, I blended the image using a number of distress inks and blending tool. After that, I wiped the left inks with a tissue from the embossed-image. Again, the main image was stamped, colored, and cut out. I propped it up on foam squares.

I just love how this card turned out. So clean with dot embossing, and soft with gradient of colors. I also would like to throw this card into the the Make it Monday and Focal Point Challenge in the Moxie Fab World.

I hope you enjoyed viewing the card and you find a little bit of inspiration. Thanks for stopping my blog. Have a good night!
